While working as a sales and marketing manager of Pearson Education Ltd representative office for Baltic States from 1999 to 2007, Gabrielė also taught courses in English Lexicology and Stylistics at Kaunas Technological University. She is currently a lecturer at VPU where she teaches courses in Translation Theory and Practice and runs workshops on Literary Text Analysis. Her interests include literary translation criticism, stylistics, application of corpus-based methods to text analysis, and psychoanalysis in literature. She is also the author of Stylistic Approach to the Linguistic Features of Prose Fiction.
