Currently works at VPU and teaches the courses of Modern English, Speaking and Literary Text Analysis. Professional interests: psycholinguistics and the use of modern technologies in language teaching.
ICT SIG unites educationalists interested in the possibilities to use different technologies, concentrating on Web 2.0 tools, in teaching English as a second language. The main objectives of the SIG are to motivate and stimulate teachers to start using technology in the classroom and to increase their experience as well as competence through discussions online, during seminars, workshops and conferences.
ICT SIG aims at:
- Raising teachers' awareness of Web 2.0 tools;
- Training them to be able to create different teaching activities which could be incorporated into their teaching curriculum;
- Creating an online community of professionals not only in Lithuania but in other countries as well.
